A Tinker’s story… Faerytaleish!

Delicate glass wind-chimes tinkle as a breeze dances merrily through the open window announcing the guests. It brings with it the scent of lavender and a hint of jasmine.

Wee folk dance for joy on the window sill as the tinker finishes a new cottage. Eager with anticipation they pause for a moment to watch… then twirl away and sing their sweet song. The enchanting melody always touches her heart. You see, she’s no ordinary tinker… she has the gift of magic.

From birth she has known a powerful magic and all who touch her work are blessed beyond their wildest dreams. Each creation is endowed with LOVE… and that is magic so pure it transcends all mortal thought.

From a collection of fol-de-rol and fiddle-dee-dee trinkets she creates a home no bigger than a foot-stool.

Absently, she hums and each tenderly crafted piece is blessed with song before it is lovingly set in place. While her friends of the wood look on, she weaves bits and pieces together. Dreams are added for color, and fragrant petals are scattered on the soft moss carpet inviting peace.

Finally, she picks through an assortment of bells and smiles when she finds the perfect one. “Eilorei will be pleased with her new home. What do you think?” She steps aside to offer her audience a view of the cottage.

With a flutter of wings, fairy dust and giggles they fly in for a closer look and quickly resume their dance on the tiny rooftop. “You approve… how wonderful! You may call her,” and she joins the merriment dancing around the table.

Moments later the wind-chimes tinkle, the scent of jasmine fills the air and the dance stops as fairy folk settle on the tinkers shoulders. All eyes are on the glittering golden fairy in the window.

“Welcome home dear one.”
